100 Favorite Songs of 2021
We’re all going to remember one thing from 2021: that I lost my coverage under my parent’s health insurance.
Also, there was some pretty good music this year. Bands actually got to play shows, anticipated albums weren’t delayed anymore, and Taylor Swift-Jake Gyllenhaal pulled off the rare double turn.
Too much good art, too little time. Everyone has a Top X list for something, whether it’s films, sports moments, or hairdryers (the Dyson Supersonic is the consensus Number 1). Since I was in college, I’ve stuck to listing my favorite songs. The number of songs I have listed has bloated to 100. I’m comfortable with that number. It’s the perfect amount to evoke that I am an obsessive with diverse taste & listening habits, and a person that is capable of counting to 100.
Here are my 100 Favorite Songs of 2021. It’s worth checking out if you’re a fan of music and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of me. As always, I hope that my taste in music makes you think I’m cool and hot.
